Terms & Conditions

THE REL THERAPY

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1 January 2025

Welcome to The Rel Therapy.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all appointments, treatments, sessions, packages, memberships and other services provided by The Rel Therapy (“The Rel Therapy”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By booking, attending, or participating in a session or service with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Appointments & Bookings

1.1 All appointments must be made through The Rel Therapy’s approved booking channels.

1.2 An appointment is considered confirmed once the booking has been accepted or confirmed by The Rel Therapy.

1.3 Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment.

1.4 If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent appointments. The full appointment fee may still apply.

1.5 We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment where reasonably necessary, including due to therapist availability, operational requirements, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

1.6 Where we need to reschedule an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to provide you with an alternative appointment time.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change. However, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client, and late cancellations or missed appointments may prevent us from offering the appointment to someone else.

2.1 Cancellations or requests to reschedule made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be treated as a late cancellation.

2.2 The full appointment fee will apply to late cancellations.

2.3 The full appointment fee may also apply where a client does not attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice (“no-show”).

2.4 Cancellations or requests to reschedule made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be made without a cancellation fee.

2.5 In exceptional circumstances, The Rel Therapy may, at its discretion, waive or reduce a cancellation fee.

2.6 Where a cancellation or rescheduling request is made through a third-party booking platform, the platform’s cancellation procedures may also apply.

2.7 By making an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and rescheduling policy.

3. Clothing & Attire

For your comfort, safety and ease of movement during your session:

3.1 Clients should wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows for stretching, movement and physical activity.

3.2 Clothing should provide appropriate coverage and allow our therapists to conduct the session safely and comfortably.

3.3 Please avoid clothing that is excessively restrictive, excessively loose, or otherwise unsuitable for stretching or physical movement.

3.4 Where a therapist reasonably considers a client’s attire unsuitable for the session, the client may be asked to adjust or change their clothing before or during the session.

3.5 The Rel Therapy reserves the right to decline or modify a session where appropriate clothing cannot reasonably be provided or adjusted.

4. Health, Medical Conditions & Physical Limitations

4.1 Clients are responsible for informing The Rel Therapy and their therapist of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, physical limitations, recent surgery, pregnancy, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to participate safely.

4.2 You should provide accurate and complete information about any condition or circumstance that may reasonably affect your participation.

4.3 You must immediately inform your therapist if you experience pain, dizziness, numbness, discomfort, shortness of breath, or any other unusual or concerning symptoms during a session.

4.4 The Rel Therapy may modify, postpone or decline a session if we reasonably believe that continuing the session may not be appropriate or safe.

4.5 If you are unsure whether a particular service is appropriate for you, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.
